Ukulele Funshop, Saturday, May 10th

One of our members passed on this flier about a ukulele "funshop" being held on Saturday, May 10th. This isn't an "official" Houkulele event, but it sounds like a fun beginner's workshop. For more details, check out the flier:

Finalized Mardi Gras 2014 Parking Plan

Ladies and Gentlemen, children of all ages...it has finally arrived...The Plan.

For those of us driving in separate vehicles...
We will all meet at the Cruise Ship Parking Terminal located at 25th and Harborside Drive. To gain access to the Parking Terminal, you will have to present a copy of the "Parking Letter" that has been uploaded to this site. It is in PDF format, grab it here:
Download it, print it out and bring it with you.

For those of you who provided an e-mail address, I will be forwarding a copy to you shortly, but you can download your own here just to be safe.

Our PINK tram will be there to pick us up at 3:30pm and will drop us off at the parade marshaling area.

Traffic coming onto the island will be heavy so allow ample travel time to get here. I would consider exiting Harborside Drive off of I-45 and taking Harborside to the cruise terminal. Travel down Broadway Blvd. may be impeded.

Looking forward to seeing you all there
- Chuck.
